Let’s Paint The World With Color
At the local art museum, I sat quietly looking at the colors, patterns, details, and even the size of the frame. This painting doesn’t just capture an image but it's a breath of life.
Stepping onto the balcony, I let my eyes wander beyond the artwork, out into the world itself. The sky looks like a deep blue sea. The trees stand tall and green and a bright circle gives us light that we need. But what really catches my attention are the colors of the people, the way they dress, the way they walk, the way they talk, the way they pray, the way they love. Each person, a different shade of experience, identity, and belief.
This is what I call the painting of life which has become a masterpiece of diversity. As I admire the beauty of it all, I notice others watching too. They light up seeing the blue of the sky, the greens of the trees. But not everyone sees the beauty in the many shades of a human being. They rather blind themselves then see the differences between all human beings until the painting is repainted to see what they please.
Not all paintings should be painted in a shade of gray, not all lines should be a line that is straight. Imagine seeing an image that is only gray, but there are way more we can see in a picture when we add a little touch of different shades. More patterns, more details which have a story to tell, that not all humans were created the same. Human have different colors, strengths, ideas and cultures and if we mix this all together we create a world full of color
If we paint only using gray, it becomes a picture with one color, one thought, one action, one feeling, and if we mix gray with gray we create a world without growth and strength.
We were created to be all painters and we were given different colors to paint a picture of our own and then add all together. When we add them all together we have created the biggest picture of them all, which I call a planet for all
Some People want to paint all gray because they want everything to be all the same and a world not for each other. They don't see what you and I see a world that needs color. Color creates strength, confidence for all, color is change, color is growth.
I ask you to pick up your bush and start painting your part, we must add color to the world to grow its respect and love for all.
